New Pup???

Over the next week I will be moving in with my good bud Bohn and we have decided that we want to get a dog. After deciding this we both decided we want to go to the local humane society to find the right dog for us. Being a vegan and animal rights activist, my reasons for going to a shelter are different than his, which consists of... It's cheaper.

I've Got That PMA

Yup, Sunday is Keepin it Posi Day! When you talk about Positive Hardcore, there's no way of not mentioning Good Clean Fun. Hitting the scene in 1997 they sought to bring positivity and fun to the scene. They sang about serious issues like Straight Edge, Veganism, The Hardcore Scene, and Positive Living but with a sense of humor. Good Clean Fun "broke up" in 2002. I say "broke up" because it's sort of a long running joke that they've kept going for this whole decade. Here's the song that explains what i'm talking about...

I can't wait:

Looking back now the summer of '88
When hardcore was young and the shows were great
The sky was the limit, the world was our stage
The future so bright we had to wear shades

I can't wait until two thousand ten
So we can relearn these songs and play them again and again!

I long for the days after we've had our fun

...They've kept their word so far on everything and now they are putting out a Good Clean Fun Movie that will be out this summer.

Spreading The Wealth

If you've been following along recently you may have noticed the things I've been adding, like The Watch Me Read series, The Watch Me Tweet series and also the iRecommend series. Well, starting tomorrow i will be adding a new series for each day of the week. That's right, not only are you getting a daily (Watch Me Read) but you're getting a different series for each day of the week. Here's the break down of what I will be putting out from now on...

Daily:

• Watch Me Read- I pick out something from the internet and share it with you. The things you see in the catagories on the side are most likely what I will pick for subjects to share with you.

Weekly:

• Sunday: Watch Me Rise- Keepin it Posi

• Monday: Watch Me Cook- Your once a week vegan recipe

• Tuesday: iRecommend- Just a recommendation by your favorite vegan, straight edge, photographer, blogger
  

• Wednesday: Watch Me Watch- I'm going to be posting some kind of video, be it documentary, show, tutorial, movie, or what-have-you

• Thursday: Watch Me Tweet- On wednesday I ask my twitter followers something and Blog about it the next day. (My first one was "Vegans, what is something you miss that you wish you knew how to make vegan?")

• Friday: Watch Me Take A Day Off- Yeah, watch me take a day off. There will still be posts but nothing scheduled.

• Saturday: Watch Me Teach: Tutorial Day
